Halkbank keep the top spot, Fenerbahce end losing streak.
The reigning champions Halkbank have defeated Maliye Piyango to keep the top spot in the turkish Efelerligi: 3-1 (23:25, 25:23, 25:13, 25:19).
It was a stunning clash, especially in the first two sets, then Halkbank destroyed the rival.
Burutay Subasi was the best scorer with 23 points, 73% attack, 1 winning block and three aces, Alen Sket added 16 and Drazen Luburic 15. On the other side, Jhon Wendt ended the match with 22 points.
In second place now there is Galatasaray that beat Tokat 3-0 in saturday’s advance.
Fenerbahce have ended a five-match losing streak, by beating Arhavi at the home court 3-0 with following scores: 25:20, 27:25, 25:22.
Wouter Ter Maat had a great performance in Fenerbahce, scoring 22 points. On the other side, Roman Danilov was the top scorer with 14 points.
Ziraat Bankasi Ankara won 3-1 on the Afyon’s field, with another amazing performance of Michal Finger (25 points).
The day’s heist brought the signing of the Inegol that even without deploying Van Walle beat Arkas Izmir 3-2. For the Glenn Hoag’s team it is a defeat that follows the bad debut in Champions League.
And Istanbul BBSK walks on the remains of Jeopark Kula (left with 6 players on the report) in the advance played friday….
