1 min read

The Bulgarian Volleyball Federation have confirmed the new head coach of the men’s national team.
It’s Silvano Prandi, the experienced 71-year old Italian coach.
He has signed a contract until 2020, but If he reaches the Olympic Games, the contract will be automatically extended.

It’s a great pleasure and honor for me to return to the Bulgarian team, which brought me a lot of positive memories and I am very enthusiastic about the Olympic qualification and as well for the European Championship. A fact is that the road to Tokyo will be very difficult but I believe this goal can be achieved,” says Prandi.

Currently he is the head coach of Chaumont and eight years ago he was already the head coach of the Bulgarian national team.
