Italian Superlega, Round 16.
We start with Latina which suffered another defeat in four sets, this time against Milano. Nothing to do, and Milano, with a very good performance of Clevenot, 24 points and deservedly MVP of the match, back to home with three points. His teammate Maar contributed with 21 points, while for Latina Swan Ngapeth’s 24 points wasn’t enought.
Zero difficults for Modena: 3:0 victory against Ravenna.
Ivan Zaytsev has returned for Modena and contributing with 14 points. Bartosz Bednorz was the best scorer with 18 points (he was also MVP of the match), while Tine Urnaut added 13.
Victory in straight sets also for Padova on the Castellana‘s field.
Torres was the top scorer of the match with 16 points.
Civitanova and Verona played the most exciting match today!
The team of Ferdinando de Giorgi barely managed to defeat Verona and they even had to make a comeback since they were trailing by 2-1!
Another great match for Verona, and, in my opinion, Nikola Grbic’s team deserved at least two points!
Tsvetan Sokolov had the best scoring display in Lube, finishing the match with 24 points, while Leal Hidalgo contributed with 22 and Osmany Juantorena with 19.
On the other side, Stephen Boyer scored 25 and Matey Kaziyski 22!
