Great victory for Perugia against Modena in big match of the day, victories also for Civitanova and Trento respectively against Sora and Castellana Grotte in straight sets, while Milano won the derby against Monza with the same result. Close the picture Latina’s victory away in four sets over Vibo Valentia.
In the big match against Modena, the Serbian opposite Aleksandar Atanasijevic had a good performance pushing Perugia to a 3-1 win. Even though Modena had a much better game opening, they couldnāt do anything to stop the rivals in the other three sets. Aleksandar Atanasijevic has ended the match with 29 points, while Wilfredo Leon contributed with 19 points.
Lube Civitanova have destroyed Sora away in straight sets in a match without any difficults: 25:20, 25:21, 25:22 are the partials. Yoandy Leal with 15 points and Tsvetan Sokolov with 14 points were the top scorers in Lube, while Dusan Petkovic had 18 on the other side.
Also Trento didnāt have any difficulties at the home court against Castellana Grotte, still winless in italian Superlega. Uros Kovacevic scored 16, while Aaron Russell contributed with 15 points.
Very interesting the derby between Monza and Milano (photogallery of the match avaible). Victory for the guests in straight sets, and Giani’s team take its seventh victory in a row! Nimir was deservedly mvp of the match with 16 points, while Maar was the absolut top scorer of the match with 19.
Close the picture of the Round 20 (Round 7 of second-leg) Latina‘s victory away over Vibo Valentia in four sets. Very important victory for Latina, and another defeat for the hosts, despite another great performance of their opposite Al Hachdadi, author of 27 points. Swan Ngapeth was mvp of the match with 16 points while TonÄek Stern contributed with 19 points.
