2 min read

The two advances of Round 20 of French ligue A were played. Both games ended in straight sets, and Ajaccio and Tours won respectively against Poitiers and Nice, which interrupts its series of seven consecutive victories.
In details, another great victory for Ajaccio: after Narbonne (3-0), Rennes (3-0), Toulouse (3-0) and Tourcoing (3-1), now there is Poitiers in straight sets (26-24, 25-22, 25-19). Once again, the man of the match was TimothƩe Carle, author of 17 points including 3 aces and 58% in attacks, finishing as absolut top scorer of the match. Good performance for the hosts also with the block: 10 in total (4 of which made by Brett Dailey), against only 2 of Poitiers, who can not do anything against the fury of rivals. Now Ajaccio is in second place with 34 points together with Montpellier and Rennes.

With the exception of a scare at the end of the third set, the guests did not make any gifts to Nice, winning in straight sets (25:18, 25:23, 29:27). Tours, despite the injury of Husaj Gazmend, has made his invincibility in fourteen league games. The first place seems already destined to it, to six rounds from the end of this regular season.
