Lube Civitanova has just ended Dinamo Moscow’s CEV Champions League journey to schedule the clash vs. Skra Belchatow. So, the semifinal picture has been completed!
Ferdinando De Giorgi’s team defeated the Russian in straight sets with following partials: 25:16, 25:21, 25:21 and without any difficults.
Yoandy Leal was the top scorer of the match with 16 points, while Tsvetan Sokolov added 15 points.
Dragan Stankovic, middle blocker and captain of Cucine Lube CIVITANOVA: “We can reach one important goal of our season, the semi-finals of the 2019 CEV Champions League. I think we must play our best Volleyball to get the ticket to the next round: we know that Dinamo MOSCOW are a hard team to play against, because in the match played in Russia they fought until the last ball. I am also sure that our supporters can help us achieve our mission”
In the semifinals, Lube will play against the Polish side PGE Skra Belchatow, while Perugia will meet the reigning champions Zenit Kazan!
