#Superlega: Modena disarm Milano to start playoffs victoriously

1 min read

Azimut Leo Shoes Modena destroy Revivre Axopower Milano away in Game 1 of the 2018/19 Italian Superlega playoff quarterfinals.
It was supposed to be the most equal matchup in the 2018/19 SuperLega Credem Banca playoff quarterfinals knowing the seeds of the two teams, but No.4 Modena managed to get an easy victory against No.5 Milano in straight sets: 25:20, 25:14, 27:25.
Milano played a not good match today: Nimir Abdel-Aziz and Klemen Čebulj underperformed in the attack, respectively with 40% and 33%. Both finished the match on single digits, failing to score a single point in the second set!
Cebulj who plays (in my opinion unfairly) instead of Maar, who made important contributions during the good season of Milano.
In Modena, Ivan Zaytsev was probably the best with 16 points including two winning blocks, while Trévor Clévenot scored 11 points for Milano.
