#Poland: Trefl Gdańsk not renewing with Piotr Nowakowski and Mijailović

The Polish Volleyball team Trefl Gdańsk parted ways with Piotr Nowakowski. The 31-year-old middle blocker, who play also in Poland national team, will not be defending the colors of Trefl Gdańsk in the 2019/20 season. He has been a player of Trefl in the last two seasons: in the 2017/2018 season he scored 367 points in total, including 93 in the block, while last season, he scored 267 points, including 67 blocks.
Gdansk also decided not to renew the contract with the Serbian receiver Nikola Mijailović, who suffered a knee injury, which excluded him from playing almost all matches in December.
Earlier, the club said goodbye also to Maciej Muzaj, the national championship best scorer, and head coach Andrea Anastasi.
