Last-minute change in Serbia’s roster for Tokyo 2020 qualifications: Podraščanin gets on list!
Serbia national team head coach Nikola Grbić made a last-minute change in the roster that will compete in the FIVB Volleyball International Qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (August 9-11), and Serbian fans, of course, will love it!
He has chosen 14 players for the tournament in Bari, Italy, (Pool C) a few days ago, and played the Wagner Memorial in Poland with them. But Marko Podraščanin, became Serbia’s last-minute change in the roster.
His recovery after the Achilles tendon surgery, due to which he missed out the 2019 FIVB Nations League, went well and he is ready to play for his national team.
The middle-blocker replaced Stevan Simić in Serbia’s team for the Qualifier.
