Now is official: Slobodan Kovac takes over Serbia!

A couple of days ago, Serbian National Team parted ways with Nikola Grbic. As we have already written, Serbia’s new head coach is Slobodan Kovac.

Knowing that a few volleyball legends from Sydney received a call to watch the tournament in Bari, but not me, this contract offer has surprised me. You canโt deny an invitation from Serbia. I didnโt even think about it. Itโs a huge honor to lead the Serbian NT,โ says Kovac for sportklub.rs.
The Serbian expert has been gathering experience both at the national team and clubs’ level: as a head coach, he was at helm of Iran and Slovenia, while at the clubs he coached Radnicki, Perugia, Halkbank and Belogorie.
