France beat Germany at tie-break (25:20, 29:31, 20:25, 25:16, 15:12) in Paris in the last friendly match before the 2019 EuroVolley that will start, for them, on September 12. But, what might worry is the injury of the two outside hitters: Trévor Clévenot and Earvin Ngapeth.
As for Clévenot, he sustained adductor muscle injury and was not in the protocol for the match. The other, Ngapeth was registered for the encounter but he felt a flank pain while hitting the ball at the warm-up. He underwent an examination immediately after the match.
