Italy: Abdel-Aziz led Milano to a victory in the first match of a new season of Superlega!

The new season in the Italian Volleyball Championship started with away win of Allianz Milano in the derby vs. Vero Volley Monza.
Milano, led by the 21 points of the Dutch bomber Nimir Abdel-Aziz, named also MVP of the match, dominated over the home team of Monza in straight sets (25:22, 29:27, 25:21) in the opening match of the 2019/20 Superlega Credem Banca regular season. The hosts squandered a 10-4 lead in the second set and 4 setpoints, missing a chance to tie the overall score at 1-1. The opening set was a true showdown between Nimir Abdel-Aziz, author of points, and the most prominent name that joined Monza, the Polish Barstosz Kurek, who scored 7 points. The latter finished the match with 13 points but through 39% in attack (11/28).
