Poland: A great performance of Halaba helps Trefl Gdańsk to down Asseco Resovia in big match

Trefl Gdańsk defeated Asseco Resovia Rzeszów in the big match of Round 13 of the 2019/20 PlusLiga regular season.
In an advanced match of Round 13, they defeated Resovia in straight sets (25:14, 25:22, 25:19). It was one of the biggest derbies of the Polish league which had an additional taste due to the fact that it confronted two head coaches that used to play together in Poland National Team for many years during the 2000s: Michał Winiarski for Gdańsk and Piotr Gruszka for Resovia.
With this victory, Trefl wrote down their third success in a row, while Resovia suffered already their third defeat. Paweł Halaba showed an all-round display with 19 points, including 5 aces and 5 winning blocks, while Zbigniew Bartman scored 10 points for Resovia.
