Michael Warm leaves the task of Austria National Team head coach after nearly one decade.

The Austrian Volleyball Association (ÖVV) and men’s national team head coach Michael Warm have agreed not to extend the collaboration: with the end of the 2019 CEV EuroVolley, a nine-year era of head coach Warm in Austria has come to an end.
The 51-year-old German expert has been at the helm of Austria since April 30, 2010 with whom he won the bronze medal in the 2016 CEV European League, the first-ever indoor volleyball medal of any of the Austrian national teams. He set another milestone for Austria by participating at the in 2017 FIVB World League, the first time for the country’s national team, while he also helped Austria qualify for the 2019 CEV European Championship. Recall that It was the maiden appearance of the country’s men’s national team in the continental event.
For the time being, Michael Warm will dedicate his coaching career to the German team VfB Friedrichshafen.
