The only representative of Serbia (the country whose men’s national team is European and women’s European and world champion), in European cups this season, Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad, has qualified for the pool stage of the 2020 Champions League by defeating Belarussian side Shakhtior Soligorsk in straight sets in the rematch of the 3rd Round, the same result was in the first leg, partially 25:23, 25:18 and 25:22. Brazilian Raphael Oliveira “Rapha“ with 19 points led Benfica Lisboa from Portugal to one more victory over Croatian Mladost Zagreb and qualification to the pool stage in which they will play in Pool D against Sir Safety Perugia (ITA), VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa (POL), and Tours VB (FRA).
