Turkey: victory for Ziraat after 3 defeats in a row, Fenerbahçe extend victorious run to 7 games

Ziraat Bankası ended their three-game losing streak in the 2019/20 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season: they beat Sorgun Belediye on the road in four sets (26:24, 22:25, 25:15, 25:14) in Round 11. This win pushed Ziraat from the sixth to the fourth place in the standings, with a 7-4 score and 21 points.
Led by the Dutchman Wouter Ter Maat, author of 22 points including 5 aces, the champions and vice-leaders Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta downed İnegöl Belediye in five sets to extend their victorious run to seven matches. Cuban Osmany Uriarte was the top scorer for the losing side with 22 points, while Oğuzhan Doğruluk made 5 winning blocks.
Galatasaray HDI Sigorta wrote down the fourth victory in a row to remain at the top of the standings with a 10-1 score and 29 points.
In the postponement Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyesi defeats İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Spor Kulübü at tie break.
