UVC Holding Graz beat Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel in straight sets (25:18, 25:17, 25:21) in the upper round of DenizBank AG VL and now both team have the same number of points in standings, three points behind the leaders and reigining champions SK Zadruga Aich / Dob, who surrendered 1:3 (22:25, 25:19, 23:25, 23:25) in the MEVZA League duel vs. ACH Volley Ljubljana.
Lorenz Koraimann with 20 points was the top scorer for Graz, while Waldviertel’s captain Rudinei Boff scored 10.
The VCA Amstetten celebrated the fourth win in as many games in the lower round, winning 3-1 away vs. the Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt, partially 20:25, 25:15, 25:20, 25:21. Top scorers of the match were Simon Frühbauer with 25 points and Arwin Kopschar with 28 for the home team, while Keaton Strom (20) and Franco Drago (13) for the winners.
