Coppa Italia: Perugia destroys Modena and joins Lube to final!

The Final of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia will be the remake of the last two editions between Cucine Lube Civitanova (who won with a great comeback over Itas Trentino in the first semifinal) and Sir Safety Conad Perugia. In front of 9000 spectators, Perugia overtakes Leo Shoes Modena in straight sets at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno, Bologna. The showdown against Lube is scheduled for 6pm today.The second semifinal opens with Perugia who easily wins the first set 25:19 thanks to the 65% positivity of the collective, with Atanasijevic author of 8 points (80%) and at the end of the match top scorer with a total of 20 points. In the second set Modena grows in attack (62%), but fails to overturn the result, despite the 9 points of Zaytsev (25:22). In the third set Modena wants to win, canceling a first set ball (24:23), however bowing at the highlight of the match with a Lanza’s ace (26:24).
