Italy: CONI stops the championships

Italian Olympic Committee CONI stops all the Italian championships in all the sports, and also Italian Volleyball League will undergo to this statement, according to the emergency meeting of today.
The SuperLega Board, which met urgently, decided unanimously to comply with the resolution taken today by CONI and therefore – for precautionary purposes – to adapt to the suspension of sports competitions until April 3.
This decision was taken as one of the measures in an attempt to reduce and prevent the further escalation of the Coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) in Italy.
