1 min read

Ljubomir Ganev was elected President of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation (BFV).
At the General Assembly in the capital city of Sofia, delegates approved a change in the federation’s statutes that allows the president to serve a maximum of two consecutive terms for four years. Ganev, who was the Vice-President, replaced Dancho Lazarov at the helm of the federation.
He is the legendary player in the country, a long-time national team player who won five championships in Bulgaria and one championship in Greece, as well as the bronze medal in 1986 FIVB World Championship, during his professional career.
