1 min read

After a videoconference and a tight vote of the participating clubs of the Superliga Masculina, the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) officially declared the end of the 2019/20 men’s championship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
There were eight votes in favor and five against closing the competition. For instance, EMS Taubaté Funvic end Sesc RJ were in favor, while Sada Cruzeiro and Sesi-SP were against. The title hasn’t been awarded.
Recall that the women’s championship had already ended a month ago.
