João Rafael fifth new face in Taubaté

The Brazilian volleyball team EMS Taubaté Funvic signed its fifth newcomer.
After hiring Bruno Rezende, Felipe Roque, Gabriel Cândido, and Maurício Borges, the team from the São Paulo state engaged also João Rafael Ferreira. The 27-year-old outside hitter spent the last season in two clubs. He started it with Italy’s Globo Banca Popolare del Frusinate Sora, and then he moved to France to play for Tours in the mid-season.
In addition to João Rafael, Taubaté also signed a contract renewal with the libero Thales Hoss.
