China: Shandong still unbeaten, first victory of Beijing in quarterfinal stage

Shandong kept their invincibility in the resumed 2019/20 Chinese volleyball Championship: after having a perfect record in the regular season, they are keeping the status in the quarterfinals stage, despite they were heavily challenged by Zhejiang in Round 5 (Round 2 of the quarterfinals).
Shandong were two times behind rivals in sets but managed to prevail in the tie-break: 3-2 (20:25, 25:21, 21:25, 27:25, 15:10). So, they remained at the top of Pool F with a 2-0 score and 5 points. Zhai Dejun was author of 19 points, while Liu Meng made 4 winning blocks.

In the same pool, the vice-champions Beijing recorded their first victory in the quarterfinal stage as they swept Fujian.
