Poland: Zaksa open the 2020/21 season with a convincing 3-0 victory over Stal Nysa

It was also “a welcome to the league” performance by Zaksa Kedzierzyn Kozle against the newcomers Stal Nysa!
The reigning champions of the 2018/2019 season didn’t have any difficulties beating the rival with a very convincing 3-0 (25:19, 25:13, 25:16) at the start of the new season in Polish elite volleyball competition, the Plusliga.
Aleksander Sliwka was the best scorer on the winning side with 12 points while his teammates Kamil Semeniuk and Lukasz Kaczmarek also contributed with 10 points each.
The best performance in the squad of the league newcomers was by Michal Filip, who ended the match with 8 points.

Zaksa will meet Bedzin in the second round, while in the third they will have a difficult task to defeat PGE Skra Belchatow on the away court. The league newcomers probably didn’t have a huge chance to defeat Zaksa but in the second round will try to surprise GKS Katowice…..
