Croatia: Coronavirus among HAOK Mladost players: they have to be quarantined for 14 days

1 min read

In Croatia, two players of the team HAOK Mladost Zagreb have been tested positive on COVID 19 coronavirus.
The main problem now is that HAOK Mladost can’t compete in the first qualifying round of the CEV Champions League against Erzeni.

“According to the rules of CEV, we had to be tested on COVID 19. All of us, players and staff. To compete at the qualifying tournament, we had to deliver all negative tests on COVID 19. On Sunday we had been tested and the first 17 results showed negative tests, however, the last two showed that they are positive on coronavirus, which was a shocking moment for us since there were no symptoms,” explains the sports director of the team Darko Antunovic.

In any case, this is a very big problem for all teams all over the world. In case of the coronavirus shows up, they have to stop all volleyball activities until further notice….
