Italy: Slobodan Kovač takes over bench of Top Volley

Slobodan Kovač is the new head coach of Italian volleyball side Top Volley Cisterna.
A Serbian 53-year-old expert, who was elected 2019 Team Coach of the Year by the CEV, which was the year in which he commanded Serbia National Team to win the trophy in the continental championship, replaced Lorenzo Tubertini. Kovač also had a successful playing career, claiming a gold medal in the 2020 Sydney Olympics.
The last club in which he worked was Poland’s Jastrzębski Węgiel.
