Turkey: Halkbank and Fenerbahçe victorious in big matches of Round 10

Halkbank and Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta emerged victoriously from the big matches of the 10th round of the 2020/21 Turkish AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi.
Halkbank Ankara side, led in scoring by Cuban Fernando Hernández author of 21 points prevailed in straight sets, partially 25:18, 25:21, and 26:24 against Spor Toto. Brazilian Wallace Souza was the only player in double digits on the scoresheet on the losing side (21 points).

On the other big match, Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta bounced back from a one-set deficit to surpass Galatasaray HDI Sigorta: 3-1 (27:29, 25:23, 27:25, 25:21). Metin Toy stood out in the fifth successive victory of Fenerbahce, putting down 29 points, while Puerto Rican Maurice Torres scored 25 points for Galatasaray, whose five-game run came to an end.
Arkas Spor (Efe Mandıracı 18 points, Mert Matić and Mustafa Koç 4 winning blocks each) downed İstanbul BBSK in four sets and extended the series of wins to three.
