Turkey: Fenerbahçe record 8th successive win, Ziraat take 3 points after leaving quarantine, Solhan Spor stun Galatasaray

Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta and Ziraat Bankkart emerged victoriously from matches of the 2020/21 Turkish Volleyball Championship that were postponed earlier.
Fenerbahçe recorded eighth successive win, this time they was better than Haliliye Bld. and the match ended in four sets (25:20, 25:22, 19:25, 25:23) in Round 9. Canadian Nicholas Hoag led Fenerbahçe in scoring with 20 points.
The Ziraat Bankkart players went out of quarantine after a month and re-debuted in the league with a four-set victory over Afyon Bld. Yüntaş (fourth defeat in a row) in the match valid for Round 6. The Ankara team was led by the Dutchman Wouter Ter Maat, author of 22 points, while Burakhan Tosun added 4 aces and 4 winning blocks.
In today’s recovery Solhan Spor has hit a sensational comeback from 0-2 against the very favorite Galatasaray after the change of the diagonal setter-opposite with the inputs of Orcun Ergun and Mert Nevzat Gunes in place of Muzaffer Yonet and Krauchuk.
