Austria: Klagenfurt defeats Ried at tie break, Sokol new leader!

Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt scored the second victory in its sixth DenizBank AG VL season game, with a great comeback from 0-2 in the home game against UVC Weberzeile Ried (18:25, 15:25, 25:21, 25:19, 15:8). For the favorite guests, the third defeat meant a severe setback in the fight for promotion to the top round, for which only the first placed qualifies after ten rounds. Arwin Kopschar with 27 points was the top scorer of the winners while Tomasz Rutecki put down 18 balls for the guests.
At the top of the charts now is TJ Sokol Vienna V after a 4-set win in Hartberg.
In the second game of the evening in fact TJ Sokol Wien V in four sets (23:25, 25:21, 25:15, 25:21) in a duel with the newcomers, taking the lead one point ahead of VCA Amstetten NÖ and two ahead of Ried.
However, Sokol has already played eight games and thus one match more than their pursuers. Like Weiz, Amstetten not play this weekend due to coronavirus.
The best scorer of the hosts was Maximilian Schedl 15, while Clemens Ecker made 23 for the winners.
