Poland: Warta Zawiercie comes out of quarantine and overwhelms Warszawa. First victory for Lubin.

Two Sunday matches in Polish Plusliga. In the afternoon match (valid as advance of Round 17) Cuprum Lubin obtained his first victory in the competition with a surprising 3-0 away against Indkypol Olsztyn. Castellani’s team, which due to coronavirus had not played since October 15, appeared late in condition and paid the bad day of the starting opposite Schulz (relegated on the bench with 2 points and -22% efficiency in attack) while on the other side the same role Jimenez was awarded MVP of the match with 21 points including 4 aces.
On the other match, the one who has not lost the rhythm despite being strongly affected by the virus is Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie of coach Kolakovic who, despite not playing since 10 October and has not fielded Muagututia, won in just 3 sets on the field of VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa. In an almost block-free game (only 1 on each side) the guests made a difference from the service line (7 aces and 11 errors against 2 aces and 18 errors). Great performance for the opposite Malinowski (3 aces and 2 errors out of 15 serves, 19 out of 35 in attack, no block suffered and only 1 error), who was deservedly awarded as MVP of the match.
