Russia: Ural Ufa write down 3rd successive win, Dinamo-LO end own losing streak

After a long break for many clubs, which ranges from two weeks to a whole month, the Russian Volleyball Championship continued.
Ural Ufa was one of the teams that had to make a long break from competing in the 2020/21 Superliga Parimatch regular season, a two-week break, due to coronavirus. Upon returning to the competition, they swept ASK in Round 9 by a 3-0 (25:18, 25:18, 25:16) and recorded the third successive win.
Canadian John Gordon Perrin and Pole Maciej Muzaj scored 13 points each for the winners, while Maksim Kulikov set up 4 blocks and Roman Bragin had 73 % reception (36 % excellent).
The champions Lokomotiv Novosibirsk, with 14 points by Serbian Marko Ivoviฤ‡, including 4 aces, scored an easy victory over Gazprom-Yugra and Dinamo-LO (Nikita Alekseev 20 points, Semen Krivitchenko 79 % reception; 43 % excellent) put an end to their own losing streak of three games by beating Yugra-Samotlor in straight sets.
