Turkey: 8th successive win for Galatasaray, and fourth for Ziraat

Galatasaray HDI Sigorta came close to first place in the 2020/21 Turkish AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season, as they continued their big winning streak also in Round 21 of the competition. The Istanbul side wrote down an eighth successive win and is now just two points behind the leaders Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta. Led by Vahit Emre Savaş and Burutay Subaşı, who scored 15 points each, Galatasaray swept the modest Solhan Spor in straight sets.
On the other match of the day, Ziraat Bankkart have significantly improved their form by down Afyon Bld. Yüntaş with the same result, which was their fourth successive win. The Dutchman Wouter Ter Maat scored 22 points for the winners.
