With the duel for first place in the standings between Montpellier and Cannes postponed to January due to the double European commitments of both teams this week, the French Ligue A weekend ends with home victories for Paris, Tours and Chaumont. The team from the capital, where new signing Rouzier made his successful debut, beat Nantes 3-2 still without the injured Michalovic.
The team coached by Henno defeated Toulouse 3-0, for which the return of Derouillon among the starters is not enough, but suffering in the first 2 sets, while Chaumont beat Séte 3-1 in comeback thanks to the amazing performances of Herrera (32 points with 72% in attack and 9 ace) and Mergarejo (MVP with 67% in attack, 1 block and 3 aces).
