Poland: Jastrzębski not allowing Skra beat them even after nearly 4 years! Comeback of Warta Zawiercie over Radom

In a big classic of the Polish club volleyball, Jastrzębski Węgiel defeated PGE Skra Bełchatów in an amazing clash in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. The home side defeated Skra for the ninth time in a row! The match was valid for Round 19 of the 2020/21 Polish PlusLiga regular season and was resolved only in the tie-break. Partially, it was 22:25, 25:21, 25:22, 21:25, 15:8.
Encounters of these two are labeled as classics in Poland given that, cunting today, they met 75 times in the history of the competition, and the last time Skra won was nearly four years ago, more precisely on February 26, 2017!
Rafał Szymura was the top scorer among the winners with 18 points, Michał Szalacha made 5 blocks, while Jakub Popiwczak had 70 % reception. Iranian Milad Ebadipour scored 16 points on the losing side.
In the evening match Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom seemed on the verge of winning against Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie but instead, ahead 2-0 (second set at 13!) And 13:11 in the 3rd set they arrived on Flavio’s service turn (break until 13:15) the reaction of the team of coach Kolakovic who, led by outside-hitter Orczyk (MVP of the match with 24 points, 52% in attack and 2 blocks) overturned the game to win at the tie-break.
