Poland: Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle and Jastrzebski Wegiel win recovery matches of Round 13 and 15

Two recovery matches were played today in Plusliga. In the afternoon match, valid for Round 13, the leaders Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle of coach Grbic confirmed the unbeaten season by beating 3-1 VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa. Superlak’s inspired day was not enough to compensate for the undertone of Kwolek and Szalpuk (replaced by Grobelny in the last 2 sets) and so ZAKSA did not struggle too much to win 3-1 with 4 players with a double digit performance: top scorer Semeniuk with 21 points, 68% in attack 4 blocks and 2 aces, and MVP Kochanowski, with 73% in attack and 3 blocks.
In the evening match, valid for Round 15, Asseco Resovia Rzeszow was defeated in straight sets by Jastrzebski Wegiel, that climb to 2nd place in the charts. MVP of the match Al Hachdadi with 18 points, 62% in attack, 1 block and 1 ace.
