In the recovery match of Round 3 VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa won only at the tie-break against newcomers Stal Nysa, without Lemanski. After a dominated first set (25:10), the favorite team suffered the comeback of the guests, who went on 1-2. The entries of Kozlowski and Szalpuk (who injured his ankle at 12:9 at the tie-break) for Trinidad and Grobelny relaunched the home team, which however suffered a new blackout at the end of the match, making themselves recover from 13:9 to 13:13 in the tie-break. Nysa also had 2 match points (14:15 and 15:16), but then Lapszynski’s error on Nowakowski’s float service (17:16) and Schamlewski’s attack (20:18) closed the game.
