2 min read

Dinamo Moscow were without a victory against Zenit-Kazan for nearly a decade but now they beat them 2 times in just 3 days!
Dinamo achieved a double 3-point worth victory against the same rivals in just 3 days in the 2020/21 Russian Superliga Parimatch regular season, both on the road, demonstrating a clear dominance over the most titled club in the country at the moment.
With the 10th successive win, of which 5 were in the league (this one in Round 18), the team commanded by Konstantin Bryanskiy took over third place in the standings from Zenit-Kazan. As for the giants from the Tatarstan region, they suffered the 6th defeat in the last 7 games. In the absence of their top scorer this season, Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov, the most prolific player of Dinamo Moscow today was Romanas Shkulyavichus, author of 16 points.
On the other hand, the Zenit Saint Petersburg’s leadership didn’t last long, as Kuzbass beat Neftyanik for the second time in 4 days (3-1) and squeezed Tuomas Sammelvuo’s team to second place. Italian superstar Ivan Zaytsev (16 points), Mikhail Shcherbakov (5 blocks), and Serbian Petar Krsmanović (75 % attack; 12/16, 1 error, blocked 1 time) stood out on the winning side.
On the other matches, Gazprom Surgut defeats at home Dinamo LO at tie break, clear straight sets win for ASK Nizhniy Novgorod over Belogorie Belgorod, and three points also for Ural Ufa, who defeats Yenisey Krasnoyarsk in four sets.
