Austrian Cup: Aich/Dob defeats defending champion Graz to complete the semifinals draw

SK Zadruga Aich/Dob was the last team to qualify for the Austrian Volley Cup semifinals. They won the new edition of the previous year’s final against defending champion UVC Holding Graz in straight sets (25:22, 25:18, 25:20) and join UVC Weberzeile Ried, Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel and VCA Amstetten NÖ, already among the top 4 in November.
On this match, Aich/Dob scored significantly more points of attack 42 to 29 (ratio 44% to 38%) and made fewer errors (20 to 26). The top scorers of the winners were Max Landfahrer (13) and Konrad Formela (12), while Clemens Unterberger (11) and Johannes Kratz (10) top-scored for the hosts.
