Turkey: Fenerbahçe swept Galatasaray to maintain leadership. Afyon – Sorgun 3-2

The biggest sports derby in Turkey between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray went in the favor of the former.
Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta hosted Galatasaray HDI Sigorta at the closing of Round 25 of the 2020/21 Turkish AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season and won the match in straight sets. Partially, it was 25:18, 28:26, and 25:17.
Thus Fenerbahçe maintained the top position in the standings with this victory, now with 3 points more in relation to the trio, whose part is Galatasaray, beneath them (56-53). At the same time, Fenerbahçe ended Galatasaray’s 11-game winning streak in the competition. Metin Toy top-scored the winners with 19 points, while Puerto Rican Maurice Torres notched 12 points on the other side of the net.
