Turkey: Sorgun put end to Ziraat’s 17-game winning streak

Ziraat Bankkart’s huge winning streak in the 2020/21 Turkish men’s AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season came to an end: surprisingly, the 10th placed Sorgun Bld. was the team that stuns the vice-leaders in Round 26 and made one step back in their attempt to overtake the top spot from Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta.
Cuban Rolando Cepeda highlighted Sorgun with 30 points, while Ahmet Samet Baltacı set up 4 winning blocks.
On the other match Bursa BBSK with 25 points by Ghafour wins at tie break after cancelled a match point on the field of TFL Altekma.
