France: Montpellier defeats Tours in big match. Surprise defeats for Cannes, Chaumont and Narbonne. Tourcoing third.

Five of 7 matches of Round 20 of French Ligue A were played last night.
In the big match, leaders Montpellier clearly defeated Tours in straight sets, but in a decidedly reworked version due to the absences of Udrys (who got injured during Champions League in Perugia, Italy), Wounembaina and Petrus. On the other hand, El Graoui (-6% efficiency in attack) and the young Toledo (-19% efficiency in attack) are disappointing while, among the hosts, great performances for Le Goff (18 points, 90% in attack, 8 blocks and 1 ace) and Sclater (11 points, 50% in attack) who is awarded MVP of the match.
During the evening, 3 surprise results: Chaumont was defeated 1-3 at home by Paris in a match in which they made too many errors in attack (12 against 2), while Séte overwhelmed Narbonne 3-0 in a match decided by the different performance of the opposites (22 points, 62% in attack, 2 aces and award of MVP for Tupchii; 7 points and 33% in attack for Hirsch).
An unrecognizable Cannes with big problems for their outside-hitter (1 point and 0% in attack for Aciobanitei, replaced twice by Lacassie, nel primo e nel terzo set, 4 points and 23% in attack for Klyamar), was clearly defeated at home by Cambrai in only 3 sets under the blows of the Brazilian opposite Daniel Cagliari (named MVP of the match with 20 points, 67% in attack, 1 block and 5 aces).

All surprises that are convenient for Tourcoing which, thanks to the 3-1 with which they defeated Nantes, has risen to third place in the standings.
