Russia: Zenit-Kazan extend with Mikhaylov and Volvich

The 6-time CEV Volleyball Champions League winners Zenit-Kazan extended contracts with two national team members, Maksim Mikhaylov and Artem Volvich.
The Russian volleyball giants put an end to speculations regarding Mikhaylov’s departure from the club and bound him also for 2021/22. Thus, a 32-year-old opposite will continue his career in the club for which he has been competing for more than a decade, more precisely since 2010, and has played 501 matches.
As part of Zenit, he won the CEV Champions League 5 times, FIVB Club World Championship 1 time, Russian Championship 7 times, national Cup 6 times, and national Super Cup 8 times.

In addition, Zenit secured a signature to the new contract with the starting middle blocker Volvich, too. A 31-year-old giant (2.12m) has been playing for the Kazan club since the 2016/17 season. He won the CEV Champions League 3 times, FIVB Club World Championship 1 time, Russian Championship 2 times, Russian Cup 4 times, and Russian Super Cup 4 times.
