1 min read

SK Zadruga Aich/Dob is Austrian Volley Cup Champion for the first time!
With a 3:1 (25:27, 26:24, 25:18, 25:19) victory over VCA Amstetten NÖ on Sunday evening in their JUFA-Arena Bleiburg, the southern Carinthians had to fight harder to defeat the rivals (who won 4 titles in 7 finals of the competition). In a very balanced match, the winners made the difference especially in blocking, with 12 points against only 3 of Amstetten. Lithuanian Arvydas Mišeikis top-scored Aich/Dob with 16 points, while Brazilian Victor Alcântara set up 5 blocks. The Pole setter Błażej Podleśny was awarded MVP of the match.
