France: Sète, Paris, Chaumont and Narbonne win Saturday’s matches of Round 22

1 min read

Other 4 games valid for Round 22 of French Ligue A were played yesterday.
Narbonne jumped to third place in the standings, winning on the field of Tours 3-1 in the big match of the day. MVP of the match is the 19-year-old Tunisian Bouguerra (75% in attack, 1 block and 1 ace), who left the bench in the 2nd set to replace a bad Hirsch (the entry of Verissimo in place of Bassereau was also effective). In Tours the debut of Lucas Loh (30% in attack) was not very effective and so the great performance of the middle-blocker Aracaju was nullified (18 points with 92% in attack, 4 blocks and 2 aces). The other big match was the one between Chaumont and Tourcoing. Chaumont wins in four sets. MVP the middle-blocker Mc Donnell with 14 points, 89% in attack, 3 blocks and 3 aces. Paris remain in the running for a place in the playoffs (victory in 3 sets on the field of an Ajaccio increasingly at risk of relegation) and Séte who confirmed the good moment of Tupchii and Baranek in the home four sets win over Nice (another formation at risk relegation).
