Italy: Milano is the last quarterfinalist! Verona defeated in straight sets.

It is Allianz Powervolley Milano who take the last pass for the quarter-finals by beating a very combative Verona in straight sets on Saturday evening.
Game 3 of the Preliminary Round rewards the performance of Milano which, after the success obtained in Game 1 and the defeat in Game 2, rejoices at the end of Game 3 on their home court. Excellent performance for Milano, especially in the fiery final of the second set with a sensational comeback from 11:16 to 25:23, and in the third set (4:11). MVP of the match is Libero Nicola Pesaresi, while Patry (14 points) and Ishikawa (13 points with 62% in attack) are the top scorers among the winners. Jensen and Kaziyski top-scored for Verona with 14 points each.
