Austria: Aich/Dob destroys Amstetten the semi-final Game 1

SK Zadruga Aich/Dob won first match of DenizBank AG VL best-of-five semifinal in their JUFA-Arena Bleiburg against VCA Amstetten NÖ in just 61 minutes. 3:0 is the final result, partially it was 25:12, 25:18, 25:19.
This match was a replica of Austrian Volley Cup final, played three weeks ago, but this time the top favorite left no doubts about who would leave the field as winner.
The match stats reflect the clear result: attack points 39 to 27, attack rate 58% to 39%, aces 5 to 0, block points 12 to 3. Top scorer of the match were Konrad Formela with 16 points, Arvydas Miseikis (11), and Eduardo Romay (10) for Amstetten, with a new head coach Andrej Urnaut for the first time on the bench.
Aich/Dob will be play on the field of Amstetten next Saturday while on Wednesday, UVC Holding Graz will face Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel in Game 1 (complete program below).
