Just 24 hours after the end of the championship, head coach of the Japanese national team Yuichi Nakagaichi has made official a roster of 24 players in view of the preparation for the Tokyo Olympics.
Allianz Milano’s outside hitter Yuki Ishikawa (who therefore takes the place of Masahiro Yanagida) has been named as the new captain, while as regards the rest of the team, the news are represented by the Libero of the Wolfdogs Nagoya, Tomohiro Ogawa, and by the two spikers of the JTEKT Stings, Shinichi Fukuyama and Kento Miyaura.
