Turkey: Ziraat first finalist, Fenerbahçe tie series against Arkas. Halkbank fifth.

The Games 2 of the turkish Efelerligi playoffs semifinals were played today.
In the first game Ziraat defeated Galatasaray again, this time in four sets, and is therefore the first finalist. Man of the match was the Dutch opposite Ter Maat with 21 points and 66% in attack. The entry of Yucel in place of Atanasov is also good. Puerto Rican Maurice Torres notched 15 points on the losing side, while Russian Yuriy Berezhko made 80% reception (10 digs, 20% perfect). In Galatasaray the precarious condition of Subasi weighed, employed as starter only in the 4th set.
In the second semi-final, Fenerbahce redeemed the unexpected defeat in Game 1 by destroying Arkas Izmir on the road with a clear 3-0, with even a 25-point difference. Metin Toy top-scored the winners with 16 points, while Emre Batur set up 5 blocks. The series therefore goes to Game 3.

Meanwhile, Halkbank dominates game 3 and closes Efelerigi in fifth place, overcoming a reworked Spor Toto and satisfied by the great success in Turkish Cup (won in the final against Halkbank themselves).
