2 min read

At the closing day of the Final Six of the 2020/21 Russian Superliga Parimatch, the regular-season winners Dinamo Moscow came back from 0-2 to 3-2 against Fakel in Pool A and secured no.1 in the pool for the semifinals. At the same time, the team from the countryā€™s capital prevented rivals from advancing to the next step. To reach the semifinals, Fakel had to win by a 3-0 or 3-1 and that with a substantial point difference.
Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov was once again the most prolific player with 28 points (63% in attack) among the winners, while Ilya Vlasov made 4 blocks.
The Moscow side will play against no.2 from Pool A, which are the reigning champions Lokomotiv, in the semifinal. Today, the Novosibirsk club lost against Kuzbass Kemerovo by a 3-1 in a duel of the two teams that already secured promotion to the top 4.
