Germany: Volleyball Bisons Buhl withdrew from Bundesliga

After 12 years of appearances and good results in Bundesliga, the management of the Volleyball Bisons Buhl did not request a license and gave up participating in the elite German competition.
The reasons lie in the current situation regarding the COVID 19 pandemic and withdrawal and inability of the club sponsors to continue to participate in the work and development of the club. Many sponsors, in fact, withdraw from participation and commitment over the past season and the club budget was significantly reduced. With the savings achieved by reducing costs and a smaller budget to create a team, also thanks to Corona-Help financial support, club survived last season.
But there is no guarantee that in 2022 it will be possible to cover all the necessary costs and the club was forced to make that decision.
Unfortunately such problems are not an isolated case, in Germany and not only.
